The Department of Environmental Studies in collaboration with Gandhi Study Circle Bharati College, University of Delhi have organized virtual visit to Yamuna Biodiversity Park. Students of different courses have participated in this online visit. Students have enjoyed and learnt out of this visit during this scorching summer to avoid physical tour.
This visit was facilitated by Professor Saloni Gupta Principal of Bharati College, University of Delhi to understand the importance of biodiversity for humankind. .
Introductory session was conducted by Dr Faiyaz Ahmad Khudsari, Senior Scientist, Yamuna Biodiversity Park. Dr Khudsari has interacted with students and introduced about this biodiversity park.
Ms. Preeti Vohra Nature Education Officer, Yamuna Biodiversity Park has guided this tour for students.
Dr Roopa Johari TIS Department of Environmental Studies and Ms. Sadhna Gupta, Convener of Gandhi Study Circle committee, Bharati College have given their contributions as Conveners.
